Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Today was my dad's 68th birthday. The grandkids scored in the grandparent department! I think the highlight of each of their lives is to go over to Grandma and Grandpa's house. There they get smothered with kisses, read to for hours on end, yummy treats, unconditional never-ending love, and so much more. The kids know that going to Grandma and Grandpa's will be full of fun....even if the cousins are not there. My parents do so much for their 28 (?) grandkids. They are always thinking of each of them and ways to make them happy. What a great legacy! This is the group while we were singing Happy Birthday!! Look at all the cute little kids. They loved singing to their beloved Grandpa!

Joseph wanted to help open the presents. He struggled to get this box open, so we went and got a knife...how smart is he!! (I am not just saying that, I think the little love bug talks better than me!!)
Hy wanted to help open the presents too. He was so cute, as usual! He kept going over to the pictures of Grandpa and would say "Grandpa"...except he says it much cuter. Oh my goodness, he is also brilliant. I have the smartest nieces and nephews...and the cutest. I could just eat all of them!
Okay, honestly...I can't get enough of those checks!!
Oh, that little boy is just so incredibly darling. His little voice is so sweet.
Benj and Grandma.

Ellie! Angelee slaved for hours on end (and her girls did too!) to make enough cake to feed the army. Not only did she make enough, but it was divine!! Ang is our resident dessert chef. She's the pro. Thanks Angelee for making his birthday official...you can't have a birthday party without a cake!!
